One notebook, every moment.
Method
The instruments do not keep separate records. Every receipt any of them seals is appended to one chain, with the instrument's state at that moment, and the estate they share is folded from it: a fix made in one instrument is true in the others. Any moment can be reopened exactly as it stood, and the whole laboratory can be rewound to it. The notebook lives in this browser and is never sent anywhere.
